About Us
Kent Brosseau - Owner

Kent’s long history in the car restoration business started when he was young, working with his grandfather, and as a result, the car bug was firmly rooted as he entered his teens. Though he wasn’t old enough to have a license, he purchased his first car at age 14. He rented his neighbor’s garage, started doing bodywork, and painted his friends’ cars to pay for the garage rental and his new ride.
In the mid-80s, he painted trucks for a living and then opened his shop in 1989 in Boring, Oregon, doing bodywork, painting cars and trucks, and building and restoring hot rods. He moved his business to his current location in 2013 and now only performs bodywork and restoration on classic cars and hot rods.
Kent explains that what separates Brosseau’s Coachworks from other body repair shops is his and his team’s ability to repair rusted metal car panels back to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standards. He is proud of his team’s skills in producing undetectable metal repair work and their dedication to the extensive and systematic work it takes to restore a car to the original.
When asking Kent if he still likes the car restoration business, he smiles and states, “my hobby is my passion is my business.”
